Using Your Host for Backups
Tue, 05/01/2007 - 02:07 — R.J. LorimerBefore switching to Dreamhost, I was mostly hosted by VPS accounts, with my storage on the high-end being around 5 GB. With Dreamhost, I have over 350 GB.
If you’re like me, you don’t have an adequate backup scheme on your home computers. Granted, some of my data (particularly on my big server hard drives) is fairly excessive in size, and the best I can hope to do with most of it is use technologies such as RAID.
